By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you — when you provide your email address, submit information through forms on our site, or make a payment through the Service
  • Automatically — certain technical information such as IP address and browser type may be collected automatically when you use the Service, for security and abuse prevention purposes
  • From third parties — our payment processor may provide transaction confirmation and metadata related to your purchase

When you use Fitdev, we may collect the following personal information:

  • Your email address — used to send receipts and service-related communications
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive product updates from us
  • Payment metadata — transaction records processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers or sensitive payment details

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service.

Unsolicited information: If you provide information we have not requested, we will handle it in accordance with this policy and delete it if we are not required to retain it.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

  • Provide and deliver the Service to you
  • Send transactional emails, including payment receipts and service notifications
  • Send occasional product updates, but only if you have explicitly opted in to receive them
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms and Conditions

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver the Service, we share data with third-party service providers in the following categories. Each processes data subject to its own privacy policy and data processing terms:

  • Payment processing — to handle transactions securely
  • File storage and hosting — to host the Service and related assets
  • Email delivery — to send transactional and marketing communications
  • Bot and abuse protection — to secure the Service from automated misuse
  • Analytics — where used, to understand how the Service is accessed and improve it

We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.

4. Overseas Data Transfers

Some of our third-party service providers are based outside Australia. By using the Service, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Australia, including the United States.

Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. However, you acknowledge that we are not required to ensure overseas recipients comply with Australian privacy law, and by using the Service you consent to such transfers.

5. Data Retention

  • Email records — retained as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy and as required by applicable law
  • Payment records — retained as required by our payment processor and applicable financial and tax laws

To request deletion of your personal data, please contact us using the details in Section 11.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Rate limiting and IP-level abuse blocking
  • Bot protection
  • Encrypted transmission of data over the network

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information.

  • Australia — Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you.
